The buildings will be located in the north-east part of the student village. The construction project is estimated to be completed in January 2028.
Construction of the new buildings
We will construct one building on the site between Olav M. Troviks vei 8-10 and 18. This building is scheduled for completion in August 2027. We will also construct two buildings on the site by Olav M. Troviks vei 2-4, 6 and 8-10. These are scheduled for completion in January 2028. During the construction project, we will open a new underground car park in one of the new buildings.
Drilling of energy wells
We will drill energy wells at each of the three new buildings. Progress depends on ground conditions. The drilling will cause significant noise.
Other consequences
The construction project will result in periods of significant noise and dust. There will be traffic to and from the construction sites. Access may be reduced at times, but it will always be possible to reach all buildings. There will also be light from tower cranes.
There will be short periods without water and power when the new buildings are connected to the existing water supply and electricity grid. These will be announced in advance.
Working hours and noise
Working hours are Monday - Friday between 07:00 and 17:00. Noisy work outside these hours, and particularly noisy activities, will be notified separately in advance.
