Kringsjå, Nordberg and Sogn

With Nordmarka close by, there are many hiking opportunities in the area. Sognsvann is the perfect starting point for short and long trips all year round. In the summer there is also a nice area for swimming and barbecuing, and in the winter you can go ice skating on the frozen lake. From Sognsvann you can hike to Vettakollen - one of the city's finest viewpoints.

The area has several grocery stores, as well as Ullevål Stadium with a good selection of shops. There is good public transport in the area both day and night and with the metro you can quickly get to the city center.

This area is perfect for those who like to be active. The Nordmarka forest offers miles of hiking trails, trails for cross country skiing and bike paths. Athletica Kringsjå offers training in a studio, group training lessons and an outdoor gym. It is also a short distance to Athletica Domus which has a large studio and varied group training lessons, a swimming pool, multipurpose hall, artificial turf court, tennis courts and squash.
