Carl Berner Student House

SiO has kindergartens at UiO and OsloMet with services much more adapted to student life than what you’ll find in other kindergartens. Here you can read more about admission, prices, and our kindergartens.

It's APCOA PARKING that rents out parking in the parking garage to the student house. Read more about how to purchase a parking agreement here.

All housing units have their own storage room. The storage rooms are located on the ground floor or basement. Remember to buy a padlock for the storage room.

The tram, subway and buses all head to the main directions of Oslo from Carl Berner. You can reach central Oslo in less than 10 minutes. If you want to head outside of the busy city centre to enjoy nature, you can easily reach both Østmarka and Nordmarka by subway.

Mailboxes are located in the post room in Hasleveien 13.

You must mark your mailbox with your name. You must also report your address to Posten to receive mail. You can report your address and read Posten’s tips for students here.

The bicycle racks are located right next to the main entrance and there are bicycle rooms in the basement next to the building's garage. 

The waste room is located around the corner from the post room in Hasleveien 13. The entrance is from the outside, towards Hasleveien.

Remember to recycle all your trash!

On the roof of Carl Berner Student House you will find a terrace with a great view of Oslo. It is open to everyone who lives in the student house, with access from Hasleveien 9.
