HomeHousingHousing overview
Do you wish to move to another student housing? Apply here!

Facts about internal moving:

  • You will stay in your current residence while you are on the waiting list. Your tenancy will automatically be terminated and allocated another student when you sign the contract for your new housing.

  • When you are allocated new housing, you will have to pay double rent for a few days.
-if the housing you are moving from has 2 months’ notice, you will have to pay double rent for 4 days.
-if the housing you are moving from has 3 months’ notice, you will have to pay double rent for 6 days.
Note that this is the same number of days that you have to be moved out by.
How to increase your chances
  • Apply for several housing units, preferably all six possible
  • Put down ‘unspecified housing unit’ as one of your choices
  • Apply for units in the largest student villages, such as Kringsjå or Sogn.
  • Submit your application early. You can apply for housing before your student admission has been approved. Be flexible in terms of types of housing types and moving dates
  • Accept the first offer you receive. If this is not your top choice, you are welcome to apply for transfer. If you are already a tenant, we will comply with your wishes as far as reasonable practical.
Can I apply for housing?

There are rules for who may or may not apply for housing. See our rules for applying here.

Which residence will I get?

Your application is for a type of housing, rather than a specific residence. You will get a specific residence when you collect your keys to move in.

Rent

The prices stated here apply for the period August 1, 2022 - July 31, 2023. On August 1, 2023, there will be new rental prices to take into account general price growth in society.

Price, size, flat type

In the housing overview, almost all the housing types have "from" and "to" price and size. We cannot say exactly which one you will get before you pick up your keys.

We have four different types of housing.

boligtype

  • Single room: With/Without bathroom, Common kitchen, Furnished/Unfurnished.
  • Flat for one person: Furnitured/Unfurnitured, Studio flat, Furnished/Unfurnished, 1 room
  • Flat for couples: Furnished/Unfurnished 1 bedrooms
  • Flat for families: Furnished/Unfurnished 2 bedrooms
