Om eventet
Almost no other Western author in modern times uses so many anecdotes and references to the Bible in his works than Henrik Ibsen. But was Ibsen religious himself? Or was he an atheist as many scholars still tend to believe? In this workshop we will discuss this topic, and both read and act out scenes from Ghosts, Brand and Rosmersholm on stage. Pizza will be provided! Contact IbsenClubUiO@gmail.com to RSVP so that we order enough food for you! About the workshop facilitator: Christian Runningen works at the Ibsen Museum & Theatre. He has a bachelor’s degree in Drama Pedagogy from OsloMet and has been acting since he was seven. He got to know Ibsen in secondary school. Since then his interest in Norway’s biggest ever celebrity has only increased. He is as interested in understanding Ibsen the man as his plays and believes the most complex and intriguing character in the world of Ibsen is Ibsen himself.
