A founding member of Egg Squish It! and one-half of Livikki, she infuses every performance with creative energy and a deadpan wit that sets her apart. After serving as PR Manager for Impro Neuf in 2024 and coordinating members' workshops for over two years, Liv now takes on the role of Leader and Artistic Director for 2025. Her vision is to elevate show quality, spark innovative projects, and expand volunteer involvement, ensuring Impro Neuf remains an energetic, inclusive, and sustainable community. With a Master’s degree in History from the University of Oslo—specializing in polar history and the history of science—Liv blends academic insight with fearless creativity to shape a fresh, compelling chapter in Oslo improv. 👨 Magnus Seines is a sharp, quick-witted performer known for his playful presence on stage. He has been an integral part of Oslo’s improv scene for years and served on the board of Impro Neuf for two consecutive terms. In 2021, he was a general board member, and in 2022, he became Leader and Artistic Director, guiding the community through the return to regular live shows at Chateau Neuf after the pandemic. His leadership helped ensure that shows, workshops, and community events continued to thrive during a challenging time. Outside of improv, Magnus works as a software developer and enjoys Dungeons & Dragons, where he channels his love for collaborative storytelling into building characters and creating worlds. 🥚💥 As co-founders of Egg Squish It!, Liv and Magnus have spent years exploring how specific details can spark rich, engaging stories on stage. Their signature format—built around real hometown memories shared by the audience—relies on clear choices and grounded play to create fully improvised narratives. No prior experience is needed—just sign up and join! The workshops are led by a variety of facilitators, each bringing their own style and perspective to the session. Over the course of the semester, you’ll explore different aspects of improv, covering a wide range of fundamentals through playful exercises and games. While attending multiple workshops will give you a well-rounded understanding of improv, every session is stand-alone and does not build on previous ones. This makes it perfect for newcomers to join at any time, while regulars can enjoy fresh exercises and insights each week. Improvisers should always be mindful of their scene partners and discuss boundaries when needed. 🔹 Encouraged Behaviors: • Respect others and the rules. • Foster a positive and inclusive environment. • Use common sense and good judgment. 🔹 Unacceptable Behaviors: • Discrimination or harassment based on gender, ethnicity, orientation, etc. • Unwanted touching or inappropriate comments. • Any behavior that causes discomfort or harm. 🔹 During Scenes: Improvisers can call a 'time out' if they feel uncomfortable, and this must be respected immediately. 🔹 Reporting Violations: Any violation of these guidelines should be reported to the Impro Neuf Board.
