Do you think it’s shit getting an F on an exam? F is feared by all students, as it can mean that progress becomes difficult - in studies, in careers, and in the life one envisioned. But did you know that the F can mean much more for student activists who risk their studies and future for what they believe in? In many countries, student activism is under attack. Students experience oppression by being failed in exams, expelled from universities, or imprisoned. But they continue, because the F they fight for stands for FREEDOM. Welcome to SAIH’s campaign launch on October 3rd at Auditorium 2, Eilert Sundts hus. We invite you to an interesting panel discussion where you will learn more about our report “Activism under Attack” and hear student activists share their stories! Don’t give an F, come to SAIH’s campaign launch! #FforFreedom The panel discussion will be moderated by Selma Bratberg, president av SAIH. The panel will consist of: - Amy Kapit, Author of the ‘Activism Under Attack 2024’ report and Senior Program Officer for Advocacy, Scholars at Risk - Boris Tadiwanashe, former leader of Zimbabwe National Students Union, ZINAZU - Jihad Al-Mahdi, representative of the Palestine Student Camp at University of Oslo
