Grunnkurs i Acem meditasjon, course in Acem meditation

As students we can experience stress and lack of concentration. Therefore, it is useful to have some tools to make student life easier. Acem meditation is a type of meditation where you repeat a sound while letting the thought come and go. In this way you learn how to process your thoughts. The meditation technique is effective in helping us tolerate stress and increase concentration. In addition it helps to fall asleep more easily. On this basic course we meet five monday evenings to we give an introduction to Acem meditation. During the course, we will talk about what Acem meditation is, give you instruction in the meditation, give you a meditation sound and meditate together. The first meeting (20th January) is in the Acem-house, Sporveisgaten 37. The remaining meets are at the University of Oslo, specific venue will be announced in January on this website. The course is consists of 5 meetings (Mondays), on the following dates: 20th January, 27th January, 3rd February, 10th February and 24th February. Kurset gir deg en innføring i Acem-meditasjonsteknikken der du får lære om psykologien bak Acem-meditasjon og får personlig instruksjon i meditasjon. Selv om kurset holdes på engelsk, er det også åpent for norske studenter. Alle studenter eller phd studenter i Oslo er velkomne! Det første møtet holdes i Sporveisgaten 37, og de fire neste møtene holdes i Georg Sverdrups hus på Blindern.
