Studenterhuset Schultz’ gate Student House is a distinctive house with a lot of history. Are you fond of interacting with people? Then this student house could be perfect for you. Schultz' gate Student House has a central location near Majorstuen and has double and single rooms with shared kitchens and bathrooms.

No matter where you might find yourself in Oslo, there is always a connection to Majorstuen station – which is located 10 mins from the student house. From the student house you can go by underground, trams or bus to all parts of the city.

The house has rooms for 69 residents, in single or double rooms. The house has 4 kitchens and 8 bathrooms shared by all residents.

Housing units

The student house is located at Fagerborg. Fagerborg is within walking distance of Blindern, Barrat Due, the Faculty of Theology, Police Academy and several other SiO campuses. The student house is located right in between Bislett, the vibrant Bogstadveien, Marienlyst and the pleasant Stensparken.

There is street parking outside of the student house. Municipal parking regulations apply. Bicycles are parked in the bike room located in the basement. Remember to mark your bike with a sticker available at the SiO Customer Service Centre.

The student house has common storage rooms instead of private storage rooms, which are shared with several residents. The storage rooms are located in the same corridor as your room. Remember to buy a padlock for the storage room.

Please show consideration towards those who live around you when using the balconies. This means no barbequing, smoking, airing carpets or using it for storage. 

The student house has several common rooms and as a resident you can use the TV room, balcony, music room, carpenter's room, billiard room, table tennis table, dark room for black and white photo processing, fitness room and reading room.

The fire alarm systems in the student village are connected directly to the Agency of Fire and Rescue Services. If you cause a false alarm, you will be charged for the fire brigade’s emergency cost. Read more about fire safety here.

You are responsible for buying lightbulbs for your own room. Please inform us via My page if the lightbulbs in the common areas burn out so we can change them. If the fuses burn out, please contact the housing manager.
