Nordberg Student Village has one and two bedroom flats and is reserved for students with children. Nordberg is a popular and cosy area and the student village consists of blocks from the 60’s. With a supermarket and several kindergartens close by, everything is set for an easy everyday life.

Bus lines go right outside the student village. There is also a night bus stopping right outside.

Nordberg Student Village was built in the 60’s. The area consists of low rise buildings with 29 one bedroom flats and 51 two bedroom flats.

Housing units

Nordberg is a popular area for families with children, with mainly detached houses and duplexes. From Nordberg there is a short distance to Nordmarka's many hiking trails and Sognsvann is located only a short walk away. The area is child-friendly and has large green areas and a playground.

All blocks in Nordberg Student Village have their own basement with a designated space with water and drain lines for installing washing machines. You must bring your own washing machine and every machine will be equipped with a meter. There is a common dryer in every basement.

Bikes are parked in the common storage room in the basement. Bikes and strollers must be marked with a sticker available at the SiO Customer Service Centre.

All flats come with 2 storage rooms in the basement. Remember to buy a padlock for the storage room.

The fire alarm systems in the student village are connected directly to the Agency of Fire and Rescue Services. If you cause a false alarm, you will be charged for the fire brigade’s emergency cost. Read more about fire safety here.

Electricity, heating and warm water are not included in the rent. You will pay for your own electricity and must order a private electricity subscription. The power cable is rented from Hafslund and you can choose your own electricity provider. The subscription must be cancelled when you move out. There is a meter for each flat.

You are responsible for buying your own lightbulbs. All flats have automatic fuses and the fuse boxes are located on every floor.
