Several bus routes depart from Alexander Kiellands plass and Iladalen.

Iladalen Student House has 169 studio flats and one bedroom flats, suitable for students living on their own or couples living together. All flats have their private bathroom, kitchen and storage room and the majority of them also have a balcony.

Housing units

A large, quiet green area surrounds the student house. Iladalen is located right next to Aleksander Kiellands plass, and in short distance from Grünerløkka, St. Hanshaugen and Sagene. The area has lots of cafés, restaurants and shops and our gyms Athletica Domus and Athletica Vulkan are close by.

The student house's laundry is located in the basement on Kingos gate 16. More info on how book a time slot and pay here.

There is a bike rack located by the main entrance and bike parking in the basement. Remember to mark your bike or stroller with a sticker available at the SiO Customer Service Centre. Please contact Q-Park if you wish to rent a parking spot.

Mailboxes are located in the basement of the student house.

All flats have their private storage room. The majority of them are located in the basement of your staircase, while some of them are located in the neighbouring staircase. Remember to buy a padlock for the storage room.

Please show consideration towards those living around you when using the balconies. This means no barbequing, smoking or airing carpets on the balcony or using it as storage.

The student house has automatic fuses and the fuse boxes are located in the flats. You are responsible for changing lightbulbs for your own flat. Please contact us via My page if the lightbulbs in the common areas have burnt out.

The fire alarm systems in the student village are connected directly to the Agency of Fire and Rescue Services. If you cause a false alarm, you will be charged for the fire brigade’s emergency cost. Read more about fire safety here.
