Enerhaugen Student House is a housing facility for students with children. In this 9-floor building you will find one and two bedroom flats with balconies. Enerhaugen is a peaceful and yet very central area of Oslo city centre. Grønland and Grünerløkka are within walking distance. With effective public transport close by, you will be able to reach both hiking trails in the woods and the Oslo beaches in no time.
All of Oslo underground lines stop at Tøyen station. The station is located at Tøyen Torg, only a few minutes away from the student house. Several buses pass through the Enerhaugen area as well.
Enerhaugen Student House was built in 1980. The house has 9 floors and 100 flats; 68 of them are one bedroom flats and 32 of them two bedroom flats.
Tøyen and Grønland have an urban environment with many restaurants and shops. The green oasis of the Botanical Garden with its exciting museums is just a short walk away. The Kampen area, with its idyllic old houses and cosy local environment, is only a short walk from Enerhaugen.
There are designated spaces with water and drain lines for installing washing machines in every flat. You have to bring your own washing machine.
The student house has a bike shed and stroller parking. It's important that bikes and strollers are parked only here due to fire safety. Bikes and strollers must be marked with a sticker available at the SiO Customer Service Centre. Street parking is available in the area. Municipal parking regulations apply.
All flats have their own storage room located on the ground floor. Remember to buy a padlock for the storage room.
The fire alarm systems in the student village are connected directly to the Agency of Fire and Rescue Services. If you cause a false alarm, you will be charged for the fire brigade’s emergency cost. Read more about fire safety here.
Please show consideration to others around you when using the balcony or terrace. That means no barbequing, smoking, airing of carpets or storage.
