Video consultations

The public health nurse is now available on video consultation.
This means you can talk to our public health nurse without even coming to SiO Health.

Our public health nurse is available on video consultation on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Do you wish to talk to a public health nurse on video? Call us on the usual telephone number to book a session and we will then inform you about the details.

The video consultations are meant to be a guidance service and you can address the following:

  • Renewal of oral contraceptives prescribed by us earlier
  • contraception counselling
  • Prescription renewal when a GP checkup is not required
  • General information on sexual health, gender identity and pregnancy
  • Questions about sexually transmitted infections and self-testing, etc.

We cannot, unfortunately, assist you with the insertion of the contraceptive implant, testing for sexually transmitted diseases or the initial prescription of contraceptives on the video consultation. To get help with this, you must book an appointment with the public health nurse at our GP office.
