Artifcial grass feld:

The feld is often in use by the team sports run by OSI or other clubs (see  the weekly plan). All users must have a valid  admission card/single ticket or a hire agreement.  Questions regarding hiring may be directed to  margit.kallak@sio.no


Badminton:

To play badminton you must book a set time (see section on Booking of Multipurpose  hall) or you may play if the hall is free (see separate weekly plan). Equipment store room which  is located immediate next to the halls. OSI does  arrange beginners’ classes (see page 21 for the  contact person).


Booking of Multipurpose hall at Blindern Athletica or Domus Athletica:

You may book  one hall for the  whole semester or do single bookings. Booking for  the whole semester must be done in August. The  period of hire applies from when you book until  week 51 in Domus Athletica and including week 45  at Blindern Athletica. Everybody must have a valid  admission card or single ticket (the booker must  have an admission card). Larger arrangements  and exams still have priority over these sessions. See the weekly plan for letting times and  contact the reception to fnd out what is available. Weekend booking is only available from Monday  the same week. State your  mobile phone number when booking and we will  notify you of any changes by text message.


Bouldering:

Drop in. To take part in bouldering,  you must be a member of OSI climbing or pay a  drop-in fee. Shoes can be  hired in reception. Chalk and bags of chalk may  be bought in the reception or at Akademika Sport.  NB: The bouldering room at Blindern Athletica is  reserved for OSI Climbing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5 - 10 pm.


Climbing:

Drop in. You must have a “Bratt kort”  for climbing (see page 22) and you must be a  member of OSI Climbing or pay a drop-in fee.  Shoes can be hired in reception.  Chalk and chalk bags may be bought in reception or at Akademika Sport. Only members of  OSI Climbing may borrow ropes and harnesses.  Everyone else must bring their own.


Family swimming:

Saturdays 9 am - 2 pm and Sundays 11 am - 4 pm. There is a queuing system during busy times.


General swimming:

All or part of the swimming  pool is open for general swimming during most of  the opening hours (see weekly schedule). OSI has  its own swimming pool times for practice/training,  see weekly schedule.


Multi-purpose halls:

The halls are mostly used  by team sports run by OSI or other clubs in the  evenings. During daytime people may hire a set  time (see “booking of multipurpose hall”). See  the weekly plan for more information. Hire  enquiries (only on weekends) may be directed to  margit.kallak@sio.no


Rental and sale of rackets: Rackets for these activities may be purchased at Akademika Sport or hired in our receptions. Balls must be purchased.


Squash courts:

You may book single sessions during our opening hours and subscription  Monday – Friday, 07.00 - 16.00. The subscription applies from when you book until week 24. This  may be done in person at one of our receptions.


Table Tennis:

To play table tennis you must book a set time (see section about Booking of Multipurpose hall) or you may play if the hall is free (see  separate weekly plan). The tables are located in  the equipment store room which is located immediate next to the halls. (Only at Domus Athletica)


Tennis courts:

We have two outdoor tennis courts  at Domus Atletica. During the winter season we  have cooperation with Grefsen Tennis Club, Kjelsåsveien 30B. You may also book tennis sessions at  Blindern Athletica (hall 1-3) on Saturdays (booking  is only avaiable from Monday the same week) You  may book single sessions in person during the  opening hours at one of our receptions. All use  of tennis courts requires an admission card or a  single ticket in addition to a purchased single session.
