General Medicine
A scheduled appointment with the Section for General Medicine must be cancelled at least 24 hours previous to the appointment, or a fee must be paid. You can phone to cancel your appointment, - and you can cancel by sending an SMS.

Use SMS to make or cancel an appointment:
SiO Health Services at Blindern: Start the message by writing SIOLEGE, your name, your date of birth and something about your problem, - but be aware of sensitive information.
SiO Health Services at BI, Nydalen: Start the message by writing BILEGE, your name, your date of birth and something about your problem, - but be aware of sensitive information.
SiO Health Services in Oslo City Centre (St. Olavsgt. 32): Start the message by writing STUDLEGE, your name, date of birth and something about your problem, - but be aware of sensitive information.

Send the message to number 2097, - but first read the following information:
You can not use SMS for emergency matters or if you need an sick leave certificate today. You can not make SMS-appointment for pregnancy matters. You can not send SMS for making appointment to have any kind of health certificates.
You may send messages day and night. If your message is sent late in the day, you might not receive an answer before the next working day.

SMS is perfect for cancelling your appointment!
The very best for us is to have your cancellation in writing and in due time (24 hrs before the time of appointment), - to be sure that the message has reached us and for you to avoid the fee for not having cancelled the appointment.

Clinical psychiatry/psychology - cancelling:
An appointment with psychiatrist or psychologist must be cancelled during office hours on the weekday before at the latest to avoid a fee. You must call the office to cancel your appointment, phone 22 85 31 81.

Are you ill?
If you have fallen suddenly ill and need attention at short notice, you can come to SiO Health Services without having made a previous appointment. Remember to take a queue number, which is necessary for the reception at the section for general medicine. You can also phone in the morning to make an appointment for later in the day.
