You must pay NOK 400 for checkup, 2 x-rays and dental rince. This is normally your first consultation before further treatment.

Be sure to be there in time...
When you are going to see the dentist for the first time, we ask you to be there 10 minutes before the appointment, - due to registration before the examination with the dentist.
There is a fee NOK 300 if you do not attend to your first appointment (see the price list). The same fee must also be paid if you are 10 minutes or more delayed for your first appointment. In this situation you will not be taken in to the dentist for checkup, - you will have to make a new appointment. The price list gives you all information about our fees. Please read the "not attend" fees!
 
For difficult dental problems you can be referred to the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Oslo.

 

Treatment
Students more than 40 years of age, can not be treated. The Dental Care Unit also refer patients to the Faculty of Dentistry for treatment, and we try, as far as our capacity allows us, to help students with tooth pain. However, we also have to refer students with tooth ache to Dental emergency units and private dentists.

If you want to leave a message on the answering machine in order to cancel your appointment, you can do so by calling the number 22 85 32 15 at any time and follow the instruction. You can also leave a message about other matters..

Dental service in partnership with the city of Oslo
Students that have paid their semester fee to their educational institution (provided that the institution is a member of SiO), can also make use of the dental health service in partnership with the City of Oslo. The dental health clinic Lillo has student friendly prices (prices near up to the prices at the Dental Care Unit in SiO) and has good capacity for new patients.
